Rod Bender is a family-owned and operated charter business on the island of Maui. Nothing makes us happier than seeing our guests light up while hooking up with a big game fish. Meet The Crew
Captain Chris Serra
Chris grew up on the beaches of Rhode Island surfing, fishing, and boating. He moved to Maui in 2010 and began his career in professional sport fishing. Chris loves the thrill of catching all species of pelagic fish including Mahi Mahi, Ono, and Ahi, but especially the Blue Marlin. The challenge of finding and landing these large fish is unmatched.
Kekoa Hunt
Born and raised on Maui, Kekoa grew up as an avid waterman, with a passion for fishing that has shaped his entire life. His pursuit of big game fish here in Hawaii is relentless, because everyday is another chance at catching a fish of a lifetime.
